Primary Health Care

The development on behalf of Stoke ‘LIFT’ and Aspire Housing Association, comprises two separate primary entrances, one for each of the principle functions.  The primary Care Centre contains 6 Consulting Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Physiotherapy and Test Laboratory facilities.  The Extra Care facility element provide 60 No. 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with communal facilities including a Residents Lounge and Dining Room.

Having worked with the Main Contractor previously on similar projects, Nicol Thomas were again appointed to provide technical construction information.  Cost engineering solution included a coordination process with specialist sub-contractors and Structural Engineers to redesign the foundations to provide a more efficient solution, resulting in a winning bid and a reduced project cost.
